Upon arrival at Bhubaneswar airport meet our representative and transfer to hotel, if time permit visit the ancient rock  cave Khandagiri and Udaygiri which date back of the real ancient history of kalinga (odisha) of 2nd century BC

Overnight – Bhubaneswar

D2-(Sun)- BHUBANESWAR- KONDH VILLAGE- BALIGUDA  (6hr drive+ visit)

Meet the Bell metal craft men at their village in Ganjam and live demonstrate the ancient tech. at there. and then if desire lunch at Jungle Dhaba (small but clean road way restaurant) and on the core jungle of Phulbani meet the Kondh tribes / warm welcome by them- excursion their lifestyle .

Baliguda- it is small town in Kandhmal dist. and the home of Kutia kondh tribal community.

D3-(Mon)-KUTIA KONDH TRIBE VILLAGE-RAYAGADA (3hr drive+ visit)

D4-(Tue)-DESIA KONDH TRIBE MARKET //VILLAGE-JEWELLERY MAKING VILLAGE-RAYAGADA (3hr drive+ visit)

Excursion the live demonstrate of age old tribal jewelry and idol  making process by the local at their village popularly called Dokra (lost wax process) . Meet the colorful  Desia kondh people at their weekly market – Dokum / explore their age old barter system of trading .

Meet the colorful Donguria tribe Kondh people at their weekly market- Chatikona . While drive towards Jeypore on route visit the Kuvi Kondh village and Mali village

JEYPORE- jeypore is an ancient town south odisha with full of culture / still a ruin heritage palace is stand proudly on the heart of this old Town . the people are very friendly . Though it is nearer to Andhra Pradesh so mix culture of Tribal (Adivasi) and Dravidian people will feel at this town

D6-(Thursday)-BONDA TRIBE WEEKLY MARKET- GADHAVA TRIBE VILLAGE-WATERFALL-JEYPORE (5hr drive+visit)

Early departure to meet the (asro-astiatic origin) one of the most colorful tribe in India – Bonda tribe at their weekly market – Onkudelly

Note- It is very nice to meet the Bonda tribe female (with their group) while they come from their village to the weekly market on the zig zag natural hill path caring their selling stuff (especially country made alcohol) on their head.

After couple of hour with them then after enjoy the gorgeous waterfall at Duduma .

Afternoon meet the Gadhava tribe at their village in Lamataput area / if desire enjoy the tribal food , prepared by our special trained driver with the help of tribal chief at their village along with tribal group dance popularly called “Dhemsa” (subject to available the drum men/ so we arrange instant over there)

Evening heritage walk at the old street of Jeypore town.

D7-(Friday)-KUNDULI- KORAPUT – POTTERY VILLAGE-PARAJA TRIBE VILLAGE- RAYAGADA (5hr drive+visit)

After explore the God Jagannath philosophy at Koraput  Jagannath temple (non Hindus and camera also allow) drive towards the largest tribal weekly market of the region at Kunduli famous for Paraja, Mali and Rana tribe. (very nice for photography and the people at there are very friendly too)

Afternoon While return back to Rayagada visit one of the most interesting Bora Paraja tribal village .

D8-(Sat)- LANJIA SAURA TRIBE-HOT SULPHER SPRING-TARATARINI (6hr drive+visit)

Meet the only Aryan tribe of Eastern India :- Lanjia Saura  at Puttasingh area of Gunupur Block (very special for their tattoo mark , costume  ) their settlement is very unique – on hill top (but connect with all weather motor able road) / while hiking at their village (1hr) visit excursion the dream painting – Popularly called ” Idital” (which is similar with pre-historic art form on their wall )hot sulphur spring also.

If time permit walk on the bank of Rusikulya river side for panoramic view.

D9- (Sun)- TARATARINI-CHILIKA LAKE- DHENKANAL (4hr drive+Visit)

Meet the migratory and residential birds on nature while on catamaran boating at Mangalajodi (with boatman and a naturalist)

Check in a nice heritage palace at Dhenkanal (it is  approximately- 150years the 1st heritage palace of Orissa which is introduced the palace into hospitality line for the guest) and enjoy the mouthwatering dinner with royal hospitality at their royal dinning hall.

D10-(Mon)- TEXTILE VILLAGE- JORANDA MONASTERY – DHENKANAL (3hr drive + visit)

Meet the classic  weavers at Nuapatna and live demonstration by the weavers of their unique  tie and dye  pattern popularly called –”Bandha” (Ikat)

Afternoon visit the very special Mahima sadhus monastery at Joranda- Excursion the Mahima philosophy and their unique worship to peace and harmony of the universe (very nice for photography)

D11-(Tue)- RATNAGIRI-UDAYGIRI-BHITAKANIKA NATIONAL PARK (4hr drive+ visit)

After breakfast at the open royal garden departure towards Bhitarkanika National park on route  excursion the ancient ruined Buddhist University (Mahavihar- stupa- chaitya) at Ratnagiri and Udaygiri.

D12- (Wed)- BHITARKANIKA NATIONAL PARK

Early stand up and meet the wild crocodile basking on sun ray on natural creeks while boating in side of the national park. Hiking inside (2hr, flat jungle rout)  the core area to meet the natural fauna such as spotted deer, wild boar, jungle fowl, water monitor lizard and different types of bird on nature. Overnight stay in the same eco cottage

D13- (Thur)- 64 YOGINI TEMPLE- KONARK SUN TEMPLE- CHANDANPUR VILLAGE RETREAT (4hr+ visit)

Morning after breakfast departure for  64yogini temple at Hirapur. (the open roofed unique temple which is one of the fourth in India having nice and living condition and all 64 idols are present and the hair style and vehicle of each and every idols are different to other) then drive to Konark sun temple / explore the language of stone on 13th c AD.

Afternoon visit the fisherman village at Chandrabhaga.

Tribes of Ladakh:

Khampa– There is a state name Kham in Tibet and the people of that state are known as Khampa . and it is believed that they have migrated from that area.
They are more Tibet- mongo lied feature. They are nomadic
They live around Tso Kar (white lake). Who can often seen taking advantage of the summer and moving herds of goats, cows.
Khampas live in large, movable family tents referred to as Chinese cowboys.

Changpa– A very hospitable semi-nomadic Tibet-mongolied featured tribe in changtang region of Ladakh called Changpa ..
Their octangle shaped grand huge thick tent made by goat and sheep skin woven with fur of yak called Rebo . which save the extremely cold weather and snow fall by nature
In the same tent with family and cattle herd they stay along with during winter.
The main sources of income is the fine poshmina goat wool / goat chess , milk

Brokpa (Aryan): The steep bare walls of the Indus river valley of North-western Ladakh give the terraced fields more light and heat than other parts , which , combined with the lower altitude, enables rich crops of Vegetables and fruits (especially apricots) to grow here. The area most famous for its inhabitants, known as “Brokpa” (People of the land)
An ancient they are indo- Iranian race called pure Aryan tribe of the world . very different from Originaly ladakhi people / some historian says that they are the army family of Alexegender the great of Masidonia.
They are tall, light eyed, high cheek bones and fair skinned. The cause of preserve the similar physical a ethnicity from the beginning is due to inter marrying (with in their community).

The traditional custom of these Aryans including elaborate head gear made of flowers called Tepi. Women decorate with nice long metal ear-rings. Very special custom during special occasions like wedding and festival

D1-Bhubaneswar

Upon arrival airport / Railway station meet our representative and transfer to hotel. If time permit visit Nandan Kaman- 20km from Bhubaneswar and tiger and lion safari at there (safari last bus has been running up to 1600 hr). Return back to hotel.

D2-Bhubaneswar-Satkosia (Project –Tiger) {5hr drive+Visit}

Drive to Satkosia wild life sanctuary. Upon arrival there check in a nice jungle resort run by local and forest department inside of core area (With proper safety). Afternoon hiking inside the jungle trail guided by govt. Guide (its mandatory). Meet the wild animal on nature.

D3-Satkosia wild life sanctuary

Early morning hiking on jungle trail enjoy the flora and fauna (including different birds on nature) and then drive to Satkosia Gorge and boating in the Mahanadi River. To meet the Magar crocodile on nature. Afternoon again hiking on the jungle pond area to watch the movement of wild animal. *Morning and late afternoon it’s time to movement of the wild animal. So again do the two hiking inside of core area and enjoy the flora and fauna of that area.

D4-Satkosia-Bhitarkanika National Park (5hr drive+Visit)

Morning drive towards Bhitarkanika National Park. Check in a nice resort in buffer zone. Walk around the area to meet different birds on nature. Overnight stay in that resort, if it is cold and cloudless night then enjoys the camp fire with star full night.

D5-Bhitarkanika National Park

Morning meet the wild crocodile on nature while boating on different creeks. Also visit the interpitation centre. Hiking the core area and meet different fauna such as wild boar, spotted deer, jungle fowl, and many different birds. Afternoon again boating on buffer zone. Overnight at the same resort.

D6-Bhitarkanika-chilika Lake (4hr drive+Visit)


Morning proceed chilika lake. Check in a nice resort at Mangalajodi*. Afternoon walk around the natural trail and enjoy the wet land with different migratory and residence birds on nature with very short distance (more or less 20-30 mts).

D7-chilika Lake

Chilika lake: the area is around 1100 sq km. Home of migratory and residence birds and also wild Irrawaddy dolphin on nature. (But which side we mentioned that side is famous for bird’s zone because that area is outer chilika). Morning ride a catamaran boat (with boatman) and meet the migratory and residence birds on nature. Overnight stay pleasantly in that resort.

D8-Departure

Morning departure to Bhubaneswar (2hr drive) board the flight / train to your onwards journey.

Satkosia Wildlife Sanctuary

Located in the south- western  part of Anugul district (60km from Anugul; 110km from Dhenkanal; 190 km from Bhubaneswar) of Odisha. The sanctuary is covering an area of 795 sq km which is covering four districts such as Anugul, cuttack, Nayagarh and Baud.

The Satkosia Gorge is a unique feature in geomorphology of India. Here Mahanadi has cut right across the Eastern Ghats and has formed a magnificent gorge(22km) with sylvan beauty and excellent features.

The topography of the region is supports moist deciduous forest, dry deciduous forest and moist peninsular Sal Forest. This area is the home for Tiger, Leopard, Elephant, Gaur, Sambar, Spotted deer, Mouse deer, Nilgai, Chousingha, Sloth bear, Wild dog etc., Varieties of resident and migratory birds, reptilian species( Gharial, Magar, Crocodile, Fresh Water turtle, Poisons & Non poisons snakes etc.)

Bhitarkanika National Park

Located in the north-eastern part of Kendrapara district of Odisha. The sanctuary is covering an area of 672 sq km and out of that 145 sq km is core area. The topography of the region is mangrove. The major wildlife of the Bhitarkanika National park include salt water crocodile, water monster Lizard, spotted deer, monkey, wild boar,  jungle cat , fox, Jackal, mongoose, fishing cat, hyena etc.

The sanctuary also has a sizable bird population with prominent being 8  different type kingfisher, open bill stork, ibis , cormorants, Darters, water hen, Hupei, Tree pie,  Wood Peckers, Drongos, Egrets, red jungle fowl and Herons.The flora of Bhitarkanika National Park chiefly comprises of Mangrove forest with Hental being the prominent trees.

Nature walk in Satkosia Wildlife Sanctuary, watch the wild animal on watch tower with forest- nature guide. Relax in your resort or nature camp.

Day9-Satkosia WL Sanctuary– full day programme (safari/ hiking / watch tower)

Day10- Satkosia WL Sanctuary– Sambalpur (5hr drive+ visit)

Morning Boating on the Mahanadi River and meet the mugger crocodile on nature basking on the river bank. Then drive towards to Sambalpur.

Day11-Sambalpur-Debrigarh WL Sanctuary- eco cottage (1.30 hr drive +visit)

Morning proceed to Debrigarh Wildlife sanctuary entry your permit paper at Dhudorkusum and check in the nice eco resort. Afternoon safari to the core and meet the wild animal on nature.

Day12- Debrigarh WL Sanctuary -full day programme

Meet the wild tiger on nature ( depend upon luck) and many carnivorous and herbivorous on nature while on full day safari. Enjoy the packet lunch near Hirakud dam water site.

Day13- Debrigarh WL Sanctuary- Morning safari- Bhubaneswar ( 7hr drive+ visit)

Morning again safari to meet many animal on nature; visit the Bison trail area during safari.

Then proceed towards Bhubaneswar , upon arrival check in a nice hotel and relax.

Day14-Bhubaneswar- chilika lake day trip-Boating at Mangalajodi- Bhubaneswar ( 3hr drive+visit)

Morning after early breakfast proceed towards Chilika lake ( Mangalajodi). Ride a catamaran boat and meet the migratory and residential birds on nature and also nature walk ( 1hr but not mandatory)on the amendment. Nice sea food lunch at the eco resort near by then back to hotel.

Day15-Bhubaneswar- departure

Departure to Bhubaneswar airport or railway station for your onwards destination.

Kuldiha Wildlife Sanctuary

Located in the south-western part of Baleswar district (35km from Baleswar railway station , 20km from Bhadrak railway station , 12km from Panchalingeswar & 270 km from Bhubaneswar) of Odisha. The sanctuary is covering an area of 272 sq km.

The topography of the region is supports deciduous thick Sal Forest. This area is the home for boost population of wild Indian elephant and including of Tiger, Leopard, Indian Bison, Sambar, Spotted deer, Mouse deer, Nilgai, Chousingha, Sloth bear, etc.At the salt leak place one can see lots of herbivorous including wild Indian elephant collecting salt ball from the ground. Varieties of birds like peacock, hornbill, tree pie, hill myna, parakeet etc with Poisons & Non poisons snakes etc.

Bhitarkanika National Park

Located in the north-eastern part of Kendrapara district of Odisha. The sanctuary is covering an area of 672 sq km and out of that 145 sq km is core area. The topography of the region is mangrove. The major wildlife of the Bhitarkanika National park include salt water crocodile, water monster Lizard, spotted deer, monkey, wild boar, jungle cat , fox, Jackal, mongoose, fishing cat, hyena etc.

The sanctuary also has a sizable bird population with prominent being 8 different type kingfisher, open bill stork, ibis , cormorants, Darters, water hen, Hupei, Tree pie, Wood Peckers, Drongos, Egrets, red jungle fowl and Herons.The flora of Bhitarkanika National Park chiefly comprises of Mangrove forest with Hental being the prominent trees.

Located in the south- western part of Anugul district (60km from Anugul; 110km from Dhenkanal; 190 km from Bhubaneswar) of Odisha. The sanctuary is covering an area of 795 sq km which is covering four districts such as Anugul, cuttack, Nayagarh and Baud.

The Satkosia Gorge is a unique feature in geomorphology of India. Here Mahanadi has cut right across the Eastern Ghats and has formed a magnificent gorge(22km) with sylvan beauty and excellent features.

The topography of the region is supports moist deciduous forest, dry deciduous forest and moist peninsular Sal Forest.
