Bandhavgarh National Park (190km from Jabalpur; 237 km from Khajuraho): is one place where you can be almost certain of seeing a tiger in its natural habitat. Stretching over 448 sq km. Bandhavgarh National Park is rich in other forms of wildlife like deer, leopard, sambar and wild boar. It is equally rich in bird life, home to over 200 species. Dominating Bandhavgarh National Park area is the Bandhavgarh Fort. Scattered throughout the park and particularly around the fort, are numerous caves containing shrines and ancient Sanskrit inscriptions.

Nearest Railway Station– Umaria-35km (1hr drive); Katni-100km (2hr drive)

Best time to visit: Nov to June

Closing of the National Park:- Bandhavgarh National will close on 1st July to 14th October in every year

Out of all the maximum chances to sight the wild tiger on nature is Talla Zone / because it is central core zone of the national park.

There are some legal documents which required during open jeep safari reservation

  • Full name of each guests (tourist) accordingly your valid id proof
  • Age
  • Nationality
  • Any identity proof details like passport, voter id, Adhar card, Driving license
  • Guests (visitors) are requested to carry the same ID proof in original at the time of visiting the National park.
  • Also carry two photo copy of the same.

Safari By: open hued maruti petrol run jeep with jungle guide ( Mandatory; provide by forest department at the entrance gate- chargeable)// maximum no. of Guests per safari jeep-6 pax ( excluding driver and Jungle guide)

Day 2– Bandhavgarh National Park – Morning and afternoon open jeep safari/ meet the wild tiger on nature with lots of herbivorous.
