Located in the western part of Mayurbhanj district of Odisha.(17km from Baripada, 76km from Balasore , 115km from Jamshedpur & 300km from Bhubaneswar) Spread over an area of 2750 sq km
The topography of the region is supports tropical dense sal forest , altitude ranging upto 900 mts , with gorgeous Barehipani ( 400mt) and Joranda (150mt) waterfall are the main attraction of the bio diversity. The core hilly terrain majestically roaming wild carnivorous and herbivorous animals and the pollution free dense green forest’s magnetic power of attraction make Similipal, the visitor’s Paradise.The national park is home of 1076 species of plants including 94 species of orchids . With the fauna- wild elephant ( 565 accordingly last census), Tiger (101 no. acc. Last census) including 42 species of Mammals, 231 species of Birds, 29 species of reptiles.The majestic Meghasani(1158 mts) , Khairiburu (1178 mt) with other high pick welcome the tourist ( guest) like smiling receptionists from the distance. it is the birth place of many rivers like Budhabalanga, salandi etc like the vein of Odisha.

If a person like to come from Bhubaneswar then : Bhubaneswar- Cuttack- Haridaspur- Panikoili- Jajpur Road- Anandapur- Karanjia- Jashipur -(entry gate)- Similipal National Park
Best time to visit: Nov. to April
Closing of the National Park:- 15June to Oct.
Entry point: Entry point from Baripada and Jashipur morning 7.30am onward for the day visitor and till 4 pm those who accommodate in the eco forest cottage inside of the park most carry with them prepaid booking voucher (We issue the pre paid booking voucher)
Entry fee: Per person per day Rs. 40 (Rs. Forty) and per small vehicle (taxi or car) entry per day Rs. 100 (Rs. One hundred)
Safari- own vehicles; entry permit for the park- on spot

Day1- Calcutta- (By morning train to Balesore) – Similipal National Park ( 2hr drive+ visit)
Upon arrival Balesore railway station meet our representative and transfer to Similipal National Park. Check in a clean comfort eco cottage and afternoon hiking on nature trail
Entry point : Pithabata where you can get entry and permit/ your accommodation prepaid document we will issue in advance to you/ please carry original id proof (what you advancely mentioned during booking) with three photocopy of the same id.
Overnight: Similipal National park
Day2-Similipal National Park-
Full day excursion of Similipal National Park (rumbled around by safari). Meet the wild animal and watch the birds on nature including Barehipani waterfall and tribal village.

Day3- Similipal National Park- Departure
Morning after breakfast check out and departure . Enroute visit the famous Joranda waterfall and see the panoramic view on nature from watch tower. Departure for your onward destination.
Note- Similpal National Park is very large in area to sight , so one can extend the program also.
Baripada has its own Railway station but there is limited train halt but nearest town Balesore has railhead and many express and passenger train halt here in your required mentioned timing.
But the guest who wants to come by road to Similipal it is advisable to come through Jashipur gate (and we prepare instant itinerary for them with same sightseeing) because all five accommodation points are nearer in compare to Baripada.
Caution: Try to obey the jungle rule accordingly in order. Respect the nature and enjoy the nature.
